Thomas Wlaschiha is an German actor, born on the 20th of June 1976 in Dohna, Dresden. When he was seventeen years old, shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall, he travelled to Agawam, Massachusetts, United States, as an exchange student. Tom remained there for a year, acting in theater and studying English. He is a multi-lingual actor who speaks German, English, French, Russian and Italian.

Internationally, Wlaschiha is known for his roles as Jaqen H'ghar in three seasons of the hit HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, as well as Sebastian Berger in the NBC action crime thriller series Crossing Lines. He also appeared in four episodes of Jack Ryan for Amazon Prime and has a supporting as Dmitri Antonov / "Enzo" in the fourth season of Netflix’s highly successful sci-fi drama Stranger Things. As a voice actor, Wlaschiha is heard in film dubs, audiobooks and commercials. For some of his international work, like Game of Thrones, Wlaschiha dubs himself in German. He recently voiced Buzz Lightyear in the German dub of Lightyear (2022).

Since 1998, Tom has played mostly supporting roles in numerous German and international TV and film productions. In his first leading role, he portrayed Stephan in the 2000 gay milieu study No One Sleeps. On stage, Wlaschiha has performed with the Theater Junge Generation in Dresden from 1996 until 2000, with the Schauspielhaus Zürich in 2002, and with the Schauspiel Frankfurt in 2003. In August 2011, he was cast as the convict and assassin Jaqen H'ghar in the second season of Game of Thrones, and reprised his role in seasons five and six. In 2016, for his performance in Game of Thrones, he was nominated alongside his cast for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series by the Screen Actors Guild Awards. From 2013 to 2015, Tom then starred in Crossing Lines as Kommissar Sebastian Berger, a German police officer. Other popular film and TV credits include, Enemy at the Gates (2001), Munich (2005), Unter den Linden – Das Haus Gravenhorst (2006), Brideshead Revisited (2008), Valkyrie (2008), The Deep (2010), The Sarah Jane Adventures (2010), Resistance (2011), Borgia (2014), Rush (2013), Berlin Falling (2017), Das Boot (2018) and Rose Island (2020). In 2022, Wlaschiha joined the cast for the fourth season of the record-breaking Netflix hit Strangers Things.
