Milly Alcock is an Australian actress who was born on the 11th of April, 2000 in Sydney, Australia. Born and raised in Sydney, she is best known for Australian roles that included regular appearances in the Foxtel drama series Fighting Season (2018), Netflix’s political thriller Pine Gap (2018), Stan’s supernatural thriller The Gloaming (2020), and AXN’s American-set crime thriller Reckoning (2020).

Alcock’s first appearance on Australian television was in 2014 as a teenager in one episode of Network Ten’s romantic comedy series Wonderland. Some earlier work also included appearing in television adverts for NBN, Cadbury, KFC & Woolworths. She portrayed the character of Isabella Barrett in 2017 for the Australia short-form miniseries High Life, and in the same year also portrayed Cindi Jackson in series three of the ABC1 drama series Janet King, opposite Marta Dusseldorp who played the title character. In 2018, Alcock portrayed roles in three different Australian television series, the Seven Network drama series A Place to Call Home opposite Janet King co-star Marta Dusseldorp, the Foxtel drama series Fighting Season opposite Jay Ryan, Ewen Leslie and Kate Mulvany, and the Netflix political thriller Pine Gap opposite Parker Sawyers, Tess Haubrich and her House of the Dragon co-star Steve Toussaint. Also in 2018, she starred in Bronte Pictures’ horror thriller film The School, opposite Megan Drury and Nicholas Hope. Following this, in 2019, Alcock portrayed Sian Galese in four episodes of ABC’s Les Norton which was adapted from the book series written by author Robert G. Barrett, and then had a starring role opposite acclaimed Australian musician and comedian Tim Minchin in Foxtel’s comedic drama series Upright, for which she won the Casting Guild of Australia Rising Star Award. In 2020, she then appeared in Stan’s supernatural thriller The Gloaming (2020) as well as AXN’s crime thriller Reckoning (2020). In 2021, Alcock landed a recurring role as the young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s House of the Dragon, a prequel spinoff of the hit fantasy series Game of Thrones, due to premiere in August of 2022. It was reported in 2022 that she was in Queensland, Australia filming series 2 of Upright.
